Welcome to my private practice. I specialize in treating adults and serve New Paltz and the greater Ulster County area.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over fifteen years of experience. I provide comprehensive medication management and psychotherapy for those seeking mental health treatment. In my practice, I see patients every day who struggle with mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. My years of clinical training and practice allow me to help patients using advanced pharmacology and humanistic psychotherapy. My areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of depression (including postpartum depression), bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, panic, OCD, social anxiety, PTSD), ADHD, and opiate addiction/Suboxone treatment.
Healing the Whole Body
One of the greatest mysteries in biology is understanding how the brain and body interact. Modern neuroscience tells us that the interactions between the two are strong and complex, with neurological, immunological and hormonal relationships. With these connections in mind, I treat the whole patient, acknowledging both the innate biological and environmental impacts on emotional and mental health.
To my current and future patients, please know that you are not alone; millions of Americans struggle with psychiatric conditions of varying severity. I look forward to helping you on your path to healing. Please call to schedule your first appointment.
While I do not work directly with insurances, services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan if they have out-of-network benefits. I provide a claim statement that can be submitted to your insurance plan.
